The India Ministry of housing (MoHUA), under the Technology Sub-Mission component of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Urban (PMAY-U), has initiated Global Housing Technology Challenge-India (GHTC-India) as a platform to identify and mainstream best globally available proven innovative construction technologies to develop an eco-system to deliver on technological challenges of the housing construction in a holistic manner and enable a paradigm shift in the construction sector.

Nordicflexhouse has by the India Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs been selected as a Proven Technology Provider for affordable green apartment projects in India, under the GHTC-India (Global Housing Technology Challence).

Subsequently, six Light House Projects (LHPs) at six places in the country, namely, Chennai, Indore, Lucknow Rajkot, Agartala and Ranchi, are being constructed using six distinct innovative technologies identified under GHTC-India to demonstrate and deliver ready to live houses at an expedited pace, as compared to conventional construction system.

These LHPs demonstrate the merits of the innovative technology and serve as Live Laboratories for mass awareness, research, testing, technology transfer and for mainstreaming in the country. In this regard, an online enrolment module of TECHNOGRAHIS has been launched. Upon enrolment, Technograhis will be exposed to the innovative construction technologies through onsite activities as well as through offsite workshops/webinars, webcasting. Interested stakeholders can enrol themselves as Technograhis through a simple online process at https://ghtc-india.gov.in/userhome/index.
